{"id":153663,"date":"2026-01-28T18:58:27","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T18:58:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/153663\/"},"modified":"2026-01-28T18:58:27","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T18:58:27","slug":"mike-brown-interacts-with-sacramento-kings-following-rematch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/153663\/","title":{"rendered":"Mike Brown interacts with Sacramento Kings following rematch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some eyebrows were raised following Mike Brown\u2019s return to Sacramento on January 14th when the former Kings head coach <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FCartoscelli3\/status\/2011674094715224531?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">departed the floor without exchanging pleasantries with any of his former players or staff<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Two weeks later, Brown and his former players showed mutual respect as the final buzzer sounded after the New York Knicks\u2019 win over Sacramento on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>The Knicks\u2019 broadcast on MSG Network captured Brown\u2019s postgame interaction with Kings center Domantas Sabonis, guard Malik Monk, and forward Keegan Murray, three players who were staples throughout the former Coach of the Year Award winner\u2019s tenure in Sacramento.<\/p>\n<p>Since firing Brown, the Kings are 39-60 (.394), including this year\u2019s 12-36 mark, which has Sacramento on the fast track to a rebuild and a high NBA Draft Lottery pick.<\/p>\n<p>Brown\u2019s Knicks (28-18) are tied with Toronto for the third seed in the Eastern Conference standings.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Mike Brown hugs Domantas Sabonis, Malik Monk, Keegan Murray &amp;
