A 27-year-old man believed to be transient suffered fatal injuries when a motorist accidentally ran him over while the victim was lying in a driveway at a Santa Ana car wash, police said Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Police were called just before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to the Orange Coin Car Wash at 117 N. Euclid St. after the victim \u2014 Phillip Michael Villafana \u2014 was found trapped under a vehicle, according to Officer Natalie Garcia of the Santa Ana Police Department.<\/p>\n
Villafana\u2019s last known address was in Long Beach.<\/p>\n
Orange County Fire Authority firefighters got the victim out from under the car, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, Garcia said.<\/p>\n
It was unclear why Villafana was lying in the driveway.<\/p>\n
