Grant | Signal Tribune)<\/p>\n<p>Preschool<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Intended for children as young as six months old to those about to start school to learn new skills in a supportive environment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Parent and Me Soccer (ages 2 to 3 years, 6 months) \u2013 Parental guardians can help introduce their toddlers to the beautiful game, while building motor and socialization skills through engaging, age-appropriate activities.<\/p>\n<p>Preschool Gymnastics (ages 4 to 7) \u2013 Participants will learn the basics of floor work such as bridge, cartwheels, frog stands and more in this fast-paced class.<\/p>\n<p>Little Music Makers (ages 3 to 5) \u2013 Study the components of music through songs, drum circles and inventive musical activities.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PlayMakers-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-92983\"  \/>Coach Kelly McCarty cheers as Jack Capelle knocks the ball off the tee during a baseball game for the children participating in the Playmakers program at J.H. Grant | Signal Tribune)<\/p>\n<p>Youth\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Intended for young children to spark their interests through music, dancing, math, reading, fitness and sports.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Biddy Tee Ball (ages 5 and younger) \u2013 Kids are invited to learn the basics of tee ball, fine tune motor skills and make new friends.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>K-Pop Musical Theater Camp (ages 7 to 14) \u2013 Receive a K-Pop choreography education, inspired by \u201cKPop Demon Hunters,\u201d with the chance to create original characters, and build confidence through singing, dancing and performance.<\/p>\n<p>Comedy, Confidence and Improv (ages 7 to 14) \u2013 Explore imagination, teamwork and character-building through hilarious improv games and sketch comedy.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/abe-4-2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-122941\"  \/>Abe Lagrimas plays his ukulele, an instrument that grounds him in his Hawaiian roots and connects him to fellow music lovers. (Courtesy of Mitchell Chang)<\/p>\n<p>Teens\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Intended to foster the enrichment and wellbeing of teens via music, art, fitness, life skills, dog training and more.<\/p>\n<p>Babysitter, First-Aid, CPR &amp; AED Training (ages 12 and up) \u2013 Become a fully-equipped babysitter by learning both fun skills and safety tips.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Teen Ukulele (ages 12 to 16) \u2013 Try your hand at playing the ukulele, while building confidence and learning fun songs in a beginner group setting. Grant | Signal Tribune)<\/p>\n<p>Older Adults\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Intended for older adults to engage social connections while supporting healthy bodies and cognitive minds.<\/p>\n<p>Ballroom Dance: Waltz &amp; Friends (ages 50 and up) \u2013 A cognitive mobility expert will guide attendees as they improve balance, coordination, memory and mood with gentle, patterned steps and feel-good music.<\/p>\n<p>Spanish for Seniors (ages 40 and up) \u2013 Learn practical conversation skills in Spanish for travel, daily life and social interaction at a comfortable pace.<\/p>\n<p>Chair Based Yoga (ages 50 and up) \u2013 Incorporate the use of a chair for meditation, breathing and relaxation techniques through various poses and movements.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Costs for these classes vary.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Community members can begin registering for classes on Feb. 2 by visiting <a href=\"http:\/\/lbparks.org\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">LBParks.org<\/a> and clicking on \u2018Online Registration\u2019 under the the LBRecConnect side menu button.
