On Monday, July 12th, 1993, the Fresno County Sheriff\u2019s Office was called out to Interstate-5 and Kamm Ave, near Cantua Creek, regarding the discovery of a deceased woman.<\/p>\n

At the time, she was wearing a ring with a photograph of a young boy approximately 3-4 years old, a California Hollywood Rat Race T-Shirt, jean shorts and a white cross necklace.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In December 2025, the Cold Case Unit identified the female as Janet Fay Moore (DOB: 8\/14\/1952). \u00a0Janet was 40 years-old at the time she was discovered. \u00a0Janet was born in Nevada, but lived in the Sacramento area from 1971 through 1993. \u00a0The circumstances of her death are unknown.<\/p>\n
