Bakersfield’s loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamani Coleman<\/a>, who posted ten points. Coleman continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she’s played.<\/p>\n

Shekinah (Kai) Shaw<\/a> had another great game (as she tends to do), dropping a double-double with 26 points and ten steals for Centennial. Shaw has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 46 times she’s played. Another player making a difference was Keke Shaw<\/a>, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 21 points.<\/p>\n

This is the second loss in a row for Bakersfield and nudges their season record down to 10-8. As for Centennial, the victory (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 24-1.<\/p>\n

Coming up, Bakersfield is taking a road trip to challenge Bakersfield Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
