(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community\u2019s help in identifying a woman accused of discarding a phone that was stolen less than an hour earlier at Valley Plaza Mall.<\/p>\n<p>Police said on December 29, 2025, the woman was seen at the Valley Plaza Mall, discarding a cellphone that had been stolen less than an hour earlier during a purse-snatching robbery.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect is described as a woman in her 20\u2019s, with long black hair, wearing reading glasses, a black sweatshirt, and blue jeans.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"{p}The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community\u2019s help in identifying a woman accused of discarding a phone that was stolen less than an hour earlier at Valley Plaza Mall.
