The station was temporarily closed, though some trains continued to pass through on the opposite track.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">An X account for the Oakland Fire Department <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/OaklandFireCA\/status\/2017367333208264967?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">said (opens in new tab)<\/a> personnel were working to recover a body from the trackway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">Green and Red line service was suspended, Filippi said. Other BART lines remained operational, with trains serving all stations except West Oakland.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">\u201cWe are still gathering more information and will provide it when we are able,\u201d Filippi said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">Separately, a gas leak near Third Street and Burke Avenue forced Muni to suspend T-Third light-rail service south of the Marin Street stop, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency said in social media posts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">Bus shuttles were providing service between Third and Marin streets and the Bayshore and Sunnydale stop, the agency said.
