Millikan<\/a>‘s matchup on Thursday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They never let the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits<\/a> get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Millikan’s defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn’t given up a goal in their last six contests.<\/p>\n They hit Long Beach Poly with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caoimhe Tighe<\/a>, Adelyn Murphy<\/a>, and Ellie Carungcong<\/a>.<\/p>\n Millikan’s win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three matches. As for Long Beach Poly, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7-1.<\/p>\n Millikan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Long Beach Poly, they will head out to take on Compton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Long Beach Poly will be up against Compton’s rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.87 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.<\/p>\n
