Piedmont\u2019s Budget Advisory and Financial Planning Committee will receive a presentation on Feb. 3 outlining a variety of potential funding mechanisms related to new housing development and affordable housing, including impact fees, community facilities districts, and potential modifications to the City\u2019s municipal services parcel tax.<\/p>\n
Budget Advisory and Financial Planning Committee: Housing Programs After the presentation, the Committee will consider making a recommendation to City Council to authorize further study of these funding mechanisms, and how they might work in Piedmont. This presentation is part of the City\u2019s ongoing work to implement the 2023 Housing Element, which committed to such a review.<\/p>\n The presentation will address these concepts: The Committee\u2019s recommendations will be discussed at Planning Commission and City Council meetings in the coming months.
