That&#8217;s when Alisa Gates&#8217; mother honked her horn, father Jason Gates told KSAT. &#8220;My wife was on the horn, but she was on the horn no more than three seconds.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In response, police say Arceo fired a shot at the family&#8217;s minivan, hitting Alisa who was in the back seat.<\/p>\n<p>She was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery, according to Gates. Her parents weren&#8217;t hurt.<\/p>\n<p>Police tracked Arceo down and arrested him.
