The Big West Release<\/a><\/p>\n FULLERTON, Calif. \u2013 Cal State Fullerton Softball selected for an ESPNU broadcast on April 25 at 1:00 p.m. versus Long Beach State, ESPN and The Big West announced Monday.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Titans are coming off a program-best season that included 18 All-Big West honors and Gina Oaks Garcia<\/a>‘s first Big West Coach of the Year award. They will host crosstown rival Long Beach State on April 24-25 at Anderson Family Field.<\/p>\n In 2025, Cal State Fullerton snapped a six-game losing streak at Long Beach State with a 5-4 win in the series opener. The Titans went on to complete the sweep with an 11-0 run-rule victory and a 1-0 win, marking the program’s first road sweep over The Beach since April 2017. \u00a0<\/p>\n Fullerton went 37-17 overall last season and 22-5 in Big West play, earning them a back-to-back regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the inaugural Big West Softball Championship. In 2026, Oaks Garcia aims to lead the Titans to their 33rd NCAA postseason appearance while navigating a 52-game slate that features meetings with 10 NCAA Tournament teams from 2025, including Women’s College World Series runner-up Texas Tech.<\/p>\n The Titans open the 2026 season by hosting the four-day Easton Classic beginning Thursday, Feb. 5.
