There was an error processing your request.&#13;\n            <\/p>\n<p>This is the money that incumbent Eunisses Hernandez and eight challengers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theeastsiderla.com\/news\/government_and_politics\/show-us-the-money-council-district-1-candidates-reveal-their-fundraising-totals\/article_27bbcde2-c470-4323-a10f-7fc1a1e3890f.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">will use<\/a> on campaign consultants, mailers, social media, etc. as the June 2 election approaches.<\/p>\n<p>The contributors range from a Pilates instructor and a judge to ex-City Councilmember Kevin de Le\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s where five candidates stand (five others had not posted figures by Monday at 5 p.m.):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/louforcd1.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Lou Calanche<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Total Contributions: 367 for $134,711Expenditures: $38,035Cash on Hand: $97,426The youth services veteran and former member of the Police Commission had the strongest fundraising period among the challengers, scoring 61 maximum contributions of $1,000, along with hundreds of smaller donations. The roster shows a wide swath of donors\u2014students, teachers, real estate professionals, etc. Calanche leads the field in cash on hand.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theeastsiderla.com\/news\/government_and_politics\/raul-claros-l-a-city-council-district-1-candidate\/article_d38ee37e-5d8c-446a-9846-a6595d83cdfe.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Raul Claros<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n                Success! Grande counts donations from several Highland Park businesses, and former District 14 councilmember Kevin de Le\u00f3n gave $103.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theeastsiderla.com\/news\/government_and_politics\/eunisses-hernandez----l-a-city-council-district-1\/article_9caecfe2-4e91-11ee-a1d2-fbf2d3fc86b3.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Eunisses Hernandez<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Total Contributions: 708 for $213,727Expenditures: $125,017Cash on Hand: $90,173The incumbent outpaced the field and netted $139,118 via 494 donations in the recent period. To date she boasts 85 maximum contributions\u2014including from numerous unions\u2014along with hundreds of small gives. The roster includes more than 50 donations from people in the legal field, including one judge. Hernandez has spent a sizable $125,000.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theeastsiderla.com\/news\/government_and_politics\/sylvia-robledo-l-a-city-council-district-1-candidate\/article_36665a0a-45ea-4164-bbe3-62e0ab969bf6.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Sylvia Robledo<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Total Contributions: 82 for $67,345Expenditures: $22,776Cash on Hand: $45,444The former aide to three different councilmembers pulled in $19,013 in the recent period, with people listed as \u201cretired\u201d accounting for 23 of her 43 contributions in the timeframe.
