SAN DIEGO \u2013 The San Diego State women\u2019s golf team began the spring season by beating Long Beach State in a dual match Sunday morning. The Aztecs ousted LBSU by one stroke 293-294 and Ema Narita<\/a> tied for first with a two-under-par 70.<\/p>\n

Narita\u2019s round was highlighted by a string of three straight birdies on holes 5-7 and an eagle on the 13th hole. On her second shot, Narita holed in from 137 yards out with a seven iron. She landed past the hole but had the backspin to bring it back.<\/p>\n

Kylie Phi<\/a> finished with an even par 72, good for fourth place. After four bogeys on the front nine, she rebounded and had three birdies in her final eight holes.<\/p>\n

Stephanie Barbaglia<\/a> took fifth with a two-over-par 74. She had 14 pars to go along with three bogeys and a birdie on the par five 16th hole.<\/p>\n

Emilia Omander<\/a>, who was playing in her first tournament of the 2025-26 season, tied for seventh with a five-over-par 77.<\/p>\n

Freshman Manon Martin<\/a> finished outside the scoring with a 79, and Emma Delwes<\/a> carded an 81 playing as an individual.<\/p>\n

Long Beach State\u2019s Erin Lee tied Narita for first with a two-under-par 70.<\/p>\n
