But the limited-edition capsule from New York label World of Crow and San Francisco creative\u2014and queen of dopamine dressing\u2014Meredith Peck (aka @sparkandpepper<\/a> to her 800K Instagram followers) is here to brighten wardrobes and moods. It\u2019s bold color, creativity, and self-expression on steroids.<\/p>\n The small-batch lineup pairs an ebullient palette\u2014pretty mauves, cool cocoas, electric blues, and fire-engine reds\u2014with artful prints and silhouettes that feel both feminine and freeing. The tops, skirts, pants, and accessories draw inspiration from \u201cFrida Kahlo\u2019s fearless artistry and iconic aesthetic,\u201d and it shows in their confident, slightly rebellious spirit.<\/p>\n Standouts include a playful patchwork skirt<\/a>, the surprisingly wearable Guerrero balloon pants<\/a> and the smile-inducing Soho Dot Ruffle Bag<\/a>.<\/p>\n What gives the collection its extra sizzle, however, is the fusion of Peck\u2019s eye for modern femininity and fearless color with World of Crow\u2019s (and founder Shaila Khubchandani\u2019s) artisan-first construction. The New York-based footwear brand is beloved for its chic, seriously comfy ballet flats\u2014and now Pac Heights shoppers can sink their teeth feet into real-life versions of Margaux\u2019s signature styles. The 10-year-old label\u2019s lineup of flats, loafers, and heels is crafted in a family-owned factory in Spain, making this brick-and-mortar a welcome alternative to online browsing.<\/p>\n Refined and welcoming, the spacious storefront with soaring 15-foot ceilings features an abundance of seating and natural light. Interior designer Louis Rambert conceived the space to feel like a living room, with shoes beautifully displayed on floor-to-ceiling shelving that encircles the shop. But armed with a clear business plan, a passion for polish, and a desire to rewrite the rules, her new San Francisco salon On the Other Hand (OTOH) is poised for success.<\/p>\n Located on Sacramento Street, the salon\u2019s goals are simple: use healthier products, deliver high-quality manicures and pedicures, and pay living wages. \u201cWe want to prove that design, ethics, and beauty can coexist beautifully, offering nail experiences that feel as good as they look,\u201d says Huang.<\/p>\n Indeed, if creative manis, meticulous pedis, and long-wearing polish\u2014gel and non-gel alike\u2014are on your beauty bingo card, look no further than OTOH.
