{"id":164,"date":"2025-10-13T01:54:06","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T01:54:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/164\/"},"modified":"2025-10-13T01:54:06","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T01:54:06","slug":"winter-like-storm-could-hit-l-a-area-late-monday-through-wednesday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/164\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Winter-like storm&#8217; could hit L.A. area late Monday through Wednesday"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A \u201cwinter-like\u201d storm will sweep across Southern California late Monday into Wednesday, bringing the chance of \u201csignificant\u201d rainfall, the <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.weather.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">National Weather Service<\/a> said Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the rain is expected to occur Monday night through Tuesday afternoon, potentially creating a headache for commuters.<\/p>\n<p>Rainfall totals during that time could range from three-quarters of an inch to 1\u00bd inches, said Richard Thompson, meteorologist for the weather service.
