(KFSN) &#8212; Thousands of Fresno Unified retirees are once again able to access benefits with Community Health System.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">EDITOR&#8217;S NOTE: The video above is from a previous broadcast and will be updated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">An agreement was reached between Community and Aetna, restoring coverage for over 6,000 retirees.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">A temporary resolution was found until February 20, but the new contract is now until December 31.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Some had to deal with canceled medical appointments and denial of other essential services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">Fresno Unified also recently announced a new plan retirees can select for coverage in 2027.
