BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) \u2014 Back in December, sheriff\u2019s deputies say a girl got off the bus at the corner of Buena Vista Boulevard and Weedpatch Highway. She began waking home, when a stranger offered her a ride.<\/p>\n

The Kern County Sheriff\u2019s Office reports she was followed and then sexually assaulted.<\/p>\n

The sheriff\u2019s office needs your help identifying the man who picked up the girl from the bus station in Lamont back on Dec. 8. He is described as a white male, with tattoos covering both arms. In this composite, you can see he has a beard and hair with a down-the-middle part.<\/p>\n

He was driving a white, four-door work truck equipped with a utility rack and tool drawers. The vehicle can be seen from nearby surveillance video. The crime occurred at 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

The identity and age of the victim have not been released.<\/p>\n
