If you’ve ever spent a summer in California’s Central Valley, then you’re probably familiar with Wild Water Adventure Park. Located in east Clovis, California, about 25 minutes from Fresno, this park is the largest water park in the Golden State. The fun-filled 52-acre park has served as a thrilling spot for many visitors who go there year after year to enjoy its exciting slides and rides, and even recreational fishing. Now, the park is finally introducing one of its most anticipated additions: A looping lazy river, called Endless River, that will bring a refreshing touch of relaxation when it eventually debuts in summer 2026. As Nathan Magsig, a member of the Fresno County Board of Supervisors, told the Fresno Bee, “This endless river addition [is] something that’s going to attract people from all over the Central Valley to enjoy and bring families together.”

The Endless River idea is a major addition to the park that did not happen overnight. “It’s a ride that everyone’s been asking for for a long time,” Wild Water owner Kathy Siggers told The Business Journal. “It’s been on our drawing board for 25 years.” Siggers also told the Fresno Bee, “it’s an engaging attraction. You can talk to your friends or family and relax.” Siggers’ husband founded the water park in 1973, and it has since been a worthy family-friendly attraction sitting pretty in the Golden State. The introduction of the relaxing lazy river promises an additional source of enjoyment amid the usual excitement the park is known for.

Visitors who are familiar with Wild Water Adventure Park know that most of the park’s attractions feature thrilling, heart-pumping activities. But now, Endless River is stepping in with a more laid-back experience for guests who’d like to take in the surrounding beauty with a leisurely float. This makes it a perfect option for those who prefer calmer, slower-paced rides rather than high-speed ones, and it also gives you the chance to enjoy conversations with family or friends while you drift along. As Siggers told the Fresno Bee, “It’s meant for tiny ones and senior citizens, and anyone in between.”

The new lazy river will be about 900 feet long and 14 feet wide, flowing counterclockwise, with a depth of 30 to 66 inches. It will also feature several entry and exit points, including a gentle, zero-depth beach area to help visitors wade in easily. What’s more, the park even plans to have small food and drink stands around the river, so visitors can get refreshments perhaps without needing to leave the water.

No doubt, if you’re a thrill-seeking traveler looking for the best water parks you can visit in the United States, Wild Water Adventure Park remains a great destination to consider. And now, the Endless River planned for 2026 promises a balance. It’s safe to say that this upcoming lazy river attraction is a mini-getaway on its own, and it specifically ensures that there’s something for everyone who comes to the park.
