BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community\u2019s help in identifying a woman accused of stealing a phone and a credit card from a purse in Trader Joe’s and using the card to buy a MacBook Pro Laptop at Costco.<\/p>\n

Police said on October 9, 2025, at about 5:30 p.m., the victim realized her phone and credit card had been stolen from her purse at Trader Joe\u2019s. Shortly after, the victim\u2019s credit card was used to purchase a MacBook Pro Laptop at Costco on Rosedale Highway.<\/p>\n

Surveillance at Costco captured the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle.<\/p>\n

The suspect is described as a woman wearing a white hat, maroon and white sweater with \u201cKORS\u201d across the chest, torn light blue jeans, black and white shoes, and a Karl Lagerfeld tote bag.<\/p>\n

The suspect\u2019s vehicle is a white 2004-2007 Nissan Armada, stock in appearance.<\/p>\n
