Rochester, Mich. – (WJRT) – An urgent message went out from Oakland University tonight about a lockdown because of an aggravated assault reported on campus.<\/p>\n
The alert went out on the university’s social media at 8:26 pm about the assault and suspect on the loose. The only description from Oakland University Police was a black man, wearing dark clothing and traveling by foot.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police say the incident happened at Van Wagoner House – a residence hall on campus.\u00a0<\/p>\n
