ROCHESTER, Mich. \u2013 Oakland University has lifted the lockdown on Van Wagoner Hall following a stabbing outside the building Thursday evening. <\/p>\n
University officials say it is now safe for the campus community to resume normal activities.<\/p>\n
On Feb. 5, police were called to the campus after receiving reports of a fight outside Van Wagoner Hall.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man with multiple stab wounds. <\/p>\n
He was taken to the hospital and is currently undergoing surgery. The victim is not a student.<\/p>\n
Police said witnesses described two suspects. One is described as a Black man in his early 20s, about 5\u20328\u2033 to 5\u203210\u2033, wearing a black North Face jacket, black pants, white shoes with blue on the back, and chin-length dreadlocks. <\/p>\n
The second suspect is also a Black man in his early 20s, wearing a camouflage jacket with a black hood, black pants, and black shoes, with curly hair.<\/p>\n
Both suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV.<\/p>\n
