The La Mesa Police Department <\/a>was at Helix Charter High School<\/a> on Friday morning, following up on a reported threat made to the school.<\/p>\n As of approximately 11 a.m., students and school staff were inside rooms with doors locked. The school reported that daily instruction was continuing as police looked into the threat. Police were reportedly still at the scene as of 12:40 p.m.<\/p>\n Helix Charter High School Community Relations and Engagement Coordinator Lauren Knuth told La Mesa Courier, \u201cWe received\u00a0an anonymous threat this morning. We have heard multiple schools received a similar threat.
