Nominate it to\u00a0become a City of Piedmont Heritage Tree!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To nominate a tree or group of trees, complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/form.jotform.com\/240190478826058\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">online nomination form<\/a> by Friday,\u00a0 March 20. You\u2019ll be asked for:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A brief description of the tree and what makes it noteworthy\u00a0Address or general location\u00a0Photos of the tree, if available\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Park Commission will consider trees for the title based on aesthetic, educational, or\u00a0historical qualities. Any tree in Piedmont\u2019s parks or public spaces is eligible for\u00a0consideration. Trees on private property will not be considered.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s class of Heritage Trees will be announced at the April 9, 2026 Park\u00a0 Commission meeting and highlighted at the City\u2019s annual Arbor Day celebration, which\u00a0 will take place on Thursday, April 23 at Community Hall. Nominators of selected trees\u00a0 will be recognized as part of the Arbor Day program and receive a limited-edition\u00a0Piedmont Heritage Tree lapel pin.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Explore all of Piedmont\u2019s Heritage Trees in interactive map\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Trees selected for this year\u2019s class will join 34 others that have received the designation\u00a0 since the program began in 2018.
