I thought it would be fun to delve a little deeper into this subject and find out the history and relevance of why these accessories have been included so prominently in paintings, sculpture, movies and tv. I will analyze works of art, ranging from paintings by old masters to modern and contemporary works. The discussion will also cover examples from popular culture, including films\u00a0and tv shows like\u00a0\u201cBreakfast\u00a0at Tiffany\u2019s\u201d ,the James Bond movies,\u00a0\u201cCrazy Rich Asians\u201d, \u201cOcean\u2019s 8\u201d, \u201cThe White Lotus\u201d,\u00a0the newest adaptation of\u00a0\u201cFrankenstein\u201d on Netflix and the upcoming movie\u00a0\u201cWuthering Heights.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The lecture will run from\u00a06:30 p.m. \u2013 7:45 p.m on Thursday, Feb. 12. Doors open at\u00a06pm.\u00a0Beverages and light snacks will be served.
