(FOX 5\/KUSI) \u2014 A hospital in the South Bay has landed on Forbes\u2019 inaugural list of the top hospitals for 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Paradise Valley Hospital in National City has been named one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/lists\/top-hospitals\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:top hospitals in the country;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">top hospitals in the country<\/a> based on detailed criteria and data collected by Forbes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The rating system was conducted by an advisory panel comprised of clinicians, scientists, health policy researchers and patient advocates in partnership with the data and analytics firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inovalon.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Inovalon;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Inovalon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/rachelpeachman\/2025\/12\/04\/forbes-top-hospitals-2026-methodology-summary\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:methodology;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">methodology<\/a> consisted of data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Forbes stated. The rankings were made from an initial pool of about 5,400 general acute care hospitals based on their patient outcomes, patient experience, best practices and value.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/fox5sandiego.com\/news\/new-psychiatric-health-facility-in-oceanside\/?ipid=promo-link-block1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:New psychiatric health facility celebrates one month of operation in North County;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\"> New psychiatric health facility celebrates one month of operation in North County <\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/companies\/paradise-valley-hospital\/?list=top-hospitals#industry-ranks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Paradise Valley Hospital;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Paradise Valley Hospital<\/a> earned four out of five stars, earning the highest praise for its patient outcomes out of all the other metrics.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cSeeing that the work we do here is recognized, not only locally but nationally, is very gratifying,\u201d said Neerav Jadeja, CEO of Paradise Valley Hospital, in a statement. \u201cI feel it\u2019s safe to say that, on behalf of the physicians, nurses, and staff of\u00a0Paradise\u00a0Valley, we feel validated and humbled by this honor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The hospital offers emergency services, interventional radiology services, acute rehabilitation, behavioral health services, community wellness programs and more in the South Bay.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It is a part of Prime Healthcare, a health system that operates over 50 hospitals nationwide across 14 states.
