Just a day after relaunching <\/a>her X account Headquarters, which was used to connect with voters during the 2024 campaign cycle, Kamala Harris has tweaked the accounts username from @headquarters67 to @headquarters68.<\/p>\n

Harris announced the revamp of Kamala HQ on Thursday and branded the account as \u201cthe new Gen-Z led progressive content hub.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is unclear if the X account\u2019s revamped handle @headquarters67 was created as a nod to the popular 6-7 meme, which has become a global inside joke for chronically online kids and teens. <\/p>\n

However, following the X account\u2019s revamp, commentators were quick to point out and mock Harris for incorporating the numbers in its revamp.<\/p>\n

Post Millennial Editor-in-chief Libby Emmons called Harris\u2019 attempt to adopt the younger generation\u2019s jokes as \u201ccringe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe cringe on this is boundless,\u201d Emmons wrote on X. \u201cKamala Harris teases big announcement but it’s just a social media rebrand to ‘HQ’\u2014and they put ’67’ in the handle.\u201d<\/p>\n

CNN\u2019s Dana Bash also commented how Harris\u2019 attempt to reach young voters would probably fall flat.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy the way, the handle they\u2019re using, you can see there, we\u2019re zooming in on it 6-7, as the kids used to say. Well, you know, used to say a lot of things. And I think they also used to say, that\u2019s probably cringe,\u201d Bash said.<\/p>\n

The revamp of Harris\u2019 Headquarters comes as the former vice president\u2019s political future still remains uncertain. She opted out of running for California Governor last July.<\/p>\n
