SAN JOSE, Calif. – \u201cMy team\u2019s going to the super bowl, and I feel like it would be a great opportunity to go around, hang out, it\u2019s Super Bowl weekend, and it\u2019s in my city too,” Bay area Seahawks fan Bryce Rutty said.<\/p>\n
Bryce here is further proof that 12\u2019s go far and wide, even in the heart of enemy territory.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s great, you know, everyone I know is a Niner fan, always be talking a lot of smack to me, every single year, every single game, especially towards the Divisional Round, and it was nice seeing a big team get a big win,” Rutty said. “A dominant win, actually, but it was really nice to see all their smiles get wiped off their face really quick.\u201d<\/p>\n
That divisional win turned into a Super Bowl run, celebrated this weekend by fans across the Bay, even a select few from the Inland Northwest.<\/p>\n
\u201cI started DJing when I was a kid, actually, in Spokane, Washington, playing concerts and events, local bars like Mootsy\u2019s and even the Spokane Convention Center, even when I was in high school,” former Lewis and Clark student and St. George’s grad Noah Dials said. “So, I moved to San Francisco to pursue a career in music.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dials here is a talent buyer, helping to organize and coordinate getting Grammy award-winning R&B star Kehlani here in San Jose to perform last night.<\/p>\n
Not even years in SF convinced Dials to give up on his seahawks, so we had to ask the way he reps his Hawks.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have a corduroy Seahawks hat, it\u2019s a vintage Seahawks hat,” Dials said. “It\u2019s a piece, it\u2019s like the best hat ever. It\u2019s very cool, Hawks are gonna win. I feel great about it guys.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dials also gave a bold score prediction.<\/p>\n
\u201c46-3.”<\/p>\n
Rutty was a tad more conservative with his score guess.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m gonna say… 35-24, Seahawks.\u201d<\/p>\n
Seattle kicks off against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
