The562\u2019s high school soccer coverage for the 2025-26 season is sponsored by Long Beach Poly soccer alum Kennedy Justin.<\/a><\/p>\n

The CIF-SS boys\u2019 soccer brackets were released Saturday morning, with five Long Beach teams finding their placements across four different divisions.<\/p>\n

All games are scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 5pm, but are subject to time change. CLICK HERE<\/a> to view the complete brackets on the CIF website.<\/p>\n

Division 2<\/p>\n

The Millikan boys\u2019 soccer team claimed its fourth consecutive Moore League title this year but will be playing back a division from the previous two years as it starts its Division 2 playoff journey. The Rams will open on the road Wednesday with a first-round matchup at Paramount.<\/p>\n

Paramount enters the postseason after claiming the Gateway League championship with a 15\u20135 overall record. The Pirates have climbed a division in each of the last two years, appearing in Divisions 4 and 3 before now making their first Division 2 appearance since 2022.<\/p>\n

Millikan is red-hot entering the playoffs on a 10-game win streak, and the Rams haven\u2019t lost a match since Dec. 22. Millikan opened league play with a pair of draws against Wilson and Long Beach Poly before finishing the season unbeaten, outscoring opponents 37\u20135 over those final 10 games.<\/p>\n

Division 3<\/p>\n

Long Beach Poly edged Wilson by three points for a second place finish in the Moore League, and both teams will make appearances in the Division 3 bracket. Poly will open the playoffs at Channel Islands while Wilson will host its first round matchup against Palmdale.<\/p>\n

The Division 3 appearance marks a step up for the Jackrabbits, who picked up a pair of wins in last year\u2019s Division 4 bracket. Poly is coming off a one-loss season in which it finished 7-1-4 in the Moore League, clinching second place with a decisive win over Wilson in the final two weeks of the season.<\/p>\n

The Jackrabbits face a tough first-round task in Channel Islands, which finished the season at an impressive 16\u20133\u20131 and in first place in the Citrus Coast League.<\/p>\n

For Wilson, the Bruins are coming off of a 7-4-1 Moore League slate and are set to host the first round for the second consecutive year. Palmdale enters the postseason after a 11-3-6 season and second place finish in the Golden League.<\/p>\n

Division 4<\/p>\n

The last time the Lakewood boys\u2019 soccer team was in Division 4, they went on a historic run to the CIF-SS championship before making a run to the CIF SoCal championship. The Lancers will look to mimic that run this time around, starting with a first-round home matchup against Hemet on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Lakewood was edged by Wilson in the Moore League final standings, finishing 7\u20134\u20131 to claim the last automatic playoff bid as the fourth-place finisher. The Lancers enter the playoffs in the top half of the Division 4 bracket and finished 39 spots ahead of Hemet in the CIF-SS final rankings.<\/p>\n

Hemet finished its season 9-6-6 with a third-place finish in the Sunbelt League. The Bulldogs won or drew in seven straight games to finish the regular season.<\/p>\n

Division 7<\/p>\n

St. Anthony finished its season 5-11-3 overall but went 5-4-1 in the Camino Real League to earn a second-place finish. The Saints will open the playoffs on the road at Apple Valley against The Academy for Academic Excellence on Wednesday in Division 7.<\/p>\n

The Knights finished the season 8-6-3 and were second place in the Cross Valley League.
