{"id":168824,"date":"2026-02-08T04:02:06","date_gmt":"2026-02-08T04:02:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/168824\/"},"modified":"2026-02-08T04:02:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-08T04:02:06","slug":"man-seriously-wounded-in-apparent-road-rage-shooting-in-long-beach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/168824\/","title":{"rendered":"Man Seriously Wounded in Apparent Road Rage Shooting in Long Beach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man suffered life-threatening gunshot wounds in Long Beach Saturday in an apparent road rage shooting.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting was reported at about 10:55 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of Palo Verde Avenue, at East Los Santos Drive, according to Long Beach Police Department spokesman Jordan McGinley.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cThe preliminary investigation indicates that the male adult victim and a male adult suspect were involved in a minor traffic collision, and the victim led the suspect to an alley where a shooting occurred,\u201d McGinley said.<\/p>\n<p>Long Beach Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a hospital, where he had stable vital signs, McGinley said.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect remained at the scene and was arrested without incident, he said.<\/p>\n<p>A firearm was recovered and the investigation continued.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A man suffered life-threatening gunshot wounds in Long Beach Saturday in an apparent road rage shooting.
