A man suffered life-threatening gunshot wounds in Long Beach in an apparent road rage shooting.<\/p>\n
The shooting was reported at about 10:55 a.m. Saturday on Palo Verde Avenue at East Los Santos Drive, which is between Atherton Street and Stearns Drive, according to Long Beach Police Department spokesperson Jordan McGinley.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe preliminary investigation indicates that the male adult victim and a male adult suspect were involved in a minor traffic collision, and the victim led the suspect to an alley where a shooting occurred,\u201d McGinley said.<\/p>\n
Long Beach Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a hospital, where he had stable vital signs, McGinley said.<\/p>\n
The suspect remained at the scene and was arrested without incident, she said.<\/p>\n
A firearm was recovered and the investigation continued.<\/p>\n
