A road-rage shooting in Long Beach left a man with life-threatening gunshot wounds on Saturday, police said.<\/p>\n
Officers responding around 10:55 a.m. on Feb. 7 to the 2000 block of Palo Verde Avenue near East Los Santos Drive found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital.<\/p>\n
The shooting followed a minor traffic collision involving the victim and another driver, police said. After the crash, police said in a news release, \u201cThe victim led the suspect to an alley where a shooting occurred.\u201d It was not clear what \u201cled\u201d meant, or what occurred immediately before the shooting.<\/p>\n
The suspect remained at the scene and was arrested without incident, the release said. Police said a firearm was recovered, but did not describe it.<\/p>\n
It was not clear if the victim and suspect knew each other. Authorities said there\u2019s no indication that the shooting is gang-related.<\/p>\n
The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
