Sacramento’s loss came despite strong showings from Chrisshaya Haygood<\/a> and Rien Osby<\/a>. Haygood posted six points along with eight rebounds and eight blocks, while Osby scored 14 points and three steals. Haygood is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she’s now posted two or more in each of the last 26 games she’s played dating back to last season.<\/p>\n

Jasmine Rochell<\/a> had another great game (as she tends to do), putting up 22 points in addition to eight steals and five boards for Vanden. That’s the most points Rochell has posted since back in January of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Garcia<\/a>, who put up 12 points along with six assists and six steals.<\/p>\n

This is the second loss in a row for Sacramento and nudges their season record down to 11-14. As for Vanden, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 20-5.<\/p>\n

Sacramento wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 31-30 defeat against Pioneer on the 7th. As for Vanden, they are taking a road trip to square off against River City at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.<\/p>\n
