{"id":170794,"date":"2026-02-09T20:25:05","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T20:25:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/170794\/"},"modified":"2026-02-09T20:25:05","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T20:25:05","slug":"new-ramps-closures-coming-to-i-696-in-oakland-county-what-to-know","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/170794\/","title":{"rendered":"New Ramps Closures Coming To I-696 In Oakland County: What To Know"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new round of ramp closures is coming to Interstate 696 and Interstate 75 in Oakland County as road work continues.<\/p>\n<p>Starting in early March and lasting through early summer, the closures are:<\/p>\n<p>Westbound Interstate 696 to southbound Interstate 75<\/p>\n<p>(Detour: Southbound M-53 and Westbound M-102 to Southbound Interstate 75) <\/p>\n<p>Westbound Interstate 696 to northbound 75<\/p>\n<p> (Detour: Northbound M-53 and Westbound M-59 to northbound Interstate 75) <\/p>\n<p>Northbound Interstate 75 to westbound Interstate 696<\/p>\n<p>(Detour: Westbound M-102 and Northbound M-10 to Westbound Interstate 696) <\/p>\n<p>Then, starting in early April and lasting through the early summer, the ramp closure is:<\/p>\n<p>Southbound Interstate 75 to westbound Interstate 696<\/p>\n<p>(Detour: Westbound M-102 and northbound M-10 to westbound Interstate 696.<\/p>\n<p>The northbound and southbound Interstate 75 ramps to eastbound Interstate 696 to remain open.<\/p>\n<p>The eastbound Interstate 696 ramps to northbound and southbound Interstate 75 that were closed last year will remain closed until the project is completed.<\/p>\n<p>Crews are rebuilding Interstate 696 between Lasher and Dequindre roads. Crews will continue rebuilding Interstate 696 in 2026, while the bulk between Interstate 75 and Dequindre Road will happen in 2027.
