{"id":171392,"date":"2026-02-10T04:53:11","date_gmt":"2026-02-10T04:53:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/171392\/"},"modified":"2026-02-10T04:53:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-10T04:53:11","slug":"possible-active-shooter-situation-in-oaklands-pill-hill-neighborhood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/171392\/","title":{"rendered":"Possible Active Shooter Situation In Oakland&#8217;s Pill Hill Neighborhood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After apparent shots were fired Monday morning, police responded to a residential street in Oakland&#8217;s Pill Hill neighborhood, where an armed suspect has reportedly barricaded themselves inside an apartment.<\/p>\n<p>There was a dynamic situation unfolding Monday in Oakland, in the area of 29th and Summit streets, in the Pill Hill neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kron4.com\/news\/bay-area\/possible-active-shooter-at-oakland-apartment-building-according-to-opd\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">KRON4 reports<\/a>, Oakland police responded to the block after receiving multiple ShotSpotter notifications, indicating that some shots were fired.
