<\/a><\/p>\nAs we reported last month, the\u00a0Anaheim Transportation Network (ATN), which operates the ART bus system and serves millions of riders each year in and around the Disneyland Resort area, will cease operations after March 2026.<\/a><\/p>\n As of February 7, it appears that the shutdown process has begun, with certain bus routes seeing consolidation in these final few weeks of service.<\/p>\n The \u201cwind-down\u201d was disclosed In the original statement regarding the closure on ATN\u2019s website:<\/p>\n After an extended evaluation of our current and future financial position and exhausting all options,\u00a0ATN will begin an orderly wind-down of operations, with conclusion of service on March 31, 2026. This transition will be implemented in a manner to allow for coordination and transparency as services are responsibly concluded.<\/p>\n The first changes to mark this transition have taken place across the network. ART bus routes \u00a0routes 9 & 11 are now operating as one combined service. Destinations along these routes are also set to continue service via the Katella Ave. \/ Ball Rd. Line.<\/p>\n In addition to the bus route changes, the on-demand ART service will be discontinued as of March 1. This on-demand service covered a variety of Anaheim-area destinations including local hotels, the Outlets at Orange, the Anaheim Indoor Marketplace, and other stops without regular service elsewhere in the network.<\/p>\n Disneyland guests may be familiar with ART service through it\u2019s hotel shuttles, which ferried guests between their residence and the Toy Story parking lot.<\/p>\n Disneyland Officials shared with us that there will be continued shuttle service from the Toy Story Parking Area even after the ART Shuttle shut down. We do not yet have the details on the shuttle change.<\/p>\n The City of Anaheim is reportedly looking into options to keep locations within this system connected following ART\u2019s shutdown, but a plan for replacement service has not yet been announced.<\/p>\n Are you a California resident affected by the ATN change?
