ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland University Softball is set to bring the energy to the diamond in 2026, unveiling a full slate of themed game days, special celebrations, and fan-focused promotions for all home contests at the Oakland Softball Field. From throwback fun to community appreciation and senior celebrations, fans are invited to join the Golden Grizzlies all season long.
\nThe promotions schedule kicks off in mid-March and runs through early May, highlighting weekends designed to engage students, families, and the local community while celebrating those who support Oakland Softball both on and off the field.
\n90’s Theme Day
\nMarch 15, 2026 – 12:00 PM & 2:30 PM vs Cleary University
\nKick off the home slate with throwback vibes as 90’s music plays throughout both games. Fans can enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere and pick up rally towels while supplies last.
\nOpening Day Weekend \/ Youth Sports & Family Day
\nMarch 27 & 28, 2026 – Friday: 3:00 PM | Saturday: 12:00 PM & 2:30 PM vs Robert Morris University
\nThe Golden Grizzlies celebrate Opening Day Weekend with youth sports and family-focused fun. Local youth sports teams are invited to attend and participate in special activities throughout the weekend.
\nFaculty & Staff Appreciation Day
\nApril 7, 2026 – 12:00 PM & 2:30 PM vs Rochester Christian University
\nOakland honors faculty and staff, with players inviting their favorite professors to join in the celebration. Fan favorites and special acknowledgments are planned pre-game and during the contests.
\nPink Out
\nApril 14, 2026 – 12:00 PM & 2:30 PM vs Lawrence Tech University
\nJoin Oakland for a Pink Out in support of breast cancer awareness. Pink ribbons, pins, and breast cancer awareness bracelets will be available to fans.
