Parents in the Pajaro Valley Unified School District, where 84% of students are Latino, expressed outrage at Jimenez\u2019s support for ICE.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can\u2019t just tell the world how you feel and not expect repercussions from people because of how they feel about ICE,\u201d local father Jorge Guerrero told the Lookout. <\/p>\n

Jimenez she received hostile social media comments and messages after the comment, including one threatening to pop her tires.<\/p>\n
Another person who threatened to file a complaint with the school told her, \u201cwho knows what you\u2019ll do behind closed doors to the kids of parents that are immigrants,\u201d calling her a \u201cshameful disgraceful disgusting woman.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m sorry that the comment was taken out of context,\u201d Jimenez told the Lookout. \u201cBut my actions speak so much louder than all those hateful bullies\u2019 words.\u201d<\/p>\n
MacQuiddy Elementary principal Sara Pearman said Jimenez\u2019s comment \u201cdoes not reflect the values\u201d of the school or district. <\/p>\n
