(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 One person was arrested for allegedly stabbing and killing a man in southwest Bakersfield Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The Bakersfield Police Department said on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at around 4:30 p.m., officers were called to the 4100 block of Thatch Avenue for a reported stabbing.<\/p>\n<p>When officers arrived, they found a man unresponsive.<\/p>\n<p>Police said officers engaged in lifesaving measures until EMTs arrived.<\/p>\n<p>The victim died from his injuries.
