SACRAMENTO \u2014 A Sacramento-based restaurant chain filed for bankruptcy earlier this month, according to court records.<\/p>\n
JIB Foods Inc., doing business as Pete\u2019s Restaurant & Brewhouse, made the Chapter 11 filing Feb. 4, court records showed.<\/p>\n
Established in 1987, the chain offers house-crafted beer alongside Italian fare and pub classics.<\/p>\n
Its website lists locations in Sacramento, Rocklin, Redding, Yuba City, Roseville and El Dorado Hills, although the Sacramento Business Journal reported last month<\/a> that the El Dorado Hills location appeared to have closed and in October<\/a> that the Roseville restaurant had shuttered.<\/p>\n In court documents, the chain estimated its number of creditors at under 50 and reported both its assets and liabilities at between roughly $1 million and $10 million.<\/p>\n A debtor who files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy typically proposes a reorganization plan to keep the business alive and pay creditors over time, according to the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts.<\/p>\n A creditors\u2019 meeting is set for March 13 in the Pete\u2019s Restaurant & Brewhouse case, court documents said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"SACRAMENTO \u2014 A Sacramento-based restaurant chain filed for bankruptcy earlier this month, according to court records.
