CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) UPD \u2014 An investigation is underway following a smash and grab at a KAY Jewelers in Clovis Wednesday afternoon. <\/p>\n
The Clovis Police Department says it happened at the store on Herndon and Sunnyside Avenues around 6:23 p.m. <\/p>\n
Police say they received several calls regarding a robbery at the store. <\/p>\n
Callers reported several people using hammers to smash glass cases before stealing several items. <\/p>\n
It’s unclear just how much jewelry was stolen, but it’s believed to be a large loss. <\/p>\n
Police say store employees and customers were able to run to safety. <\/p>\n
No injuries have been reported. <\/p>\n
Police say the suspects left in at least one vehicle. <\/p>\n
