OAKLAND \u2014 A 26-year-old man was fatally shot Wednesday night inside an East Oakland phone repair store, authorities said.<\/p>\n
The man\u2019s name has not yet been released pending notification of his family.<\/p>\n
The shooting happened around 6:45 p.m. inside a phone repair store in\u00a0 the 9800 block of International Boulevard where the man was getting some repairs to a phone, authorities said.<\/p>\n
Another man entered the store and\u00a0 began firing multiple shots at the 26-year-old man, who was hit more than once, authorities said. The gunman then fled on foot.\u00a0 The wounded man was pronounced deceased at the business.<\/p>\n
Other people were inside the business but no other injuries were reported.<\/p>\n
Police have not established a motive yet for the killing, but said the victim was deliberately targeted.<\/p>\n
A detailed description of the shooter has not been released.<\/p>\n
The killing is the 11th homicide investigated by Oakland police this year.\u00a0 Last year at this time police had investigated 14 homicides in the city.<\/p>\n
