(KGET) \u2014 Police are asking the community for help with identifying a man who burglarized a southwest Bakersfield home on Christmas Eve.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Officers with the Bakersfield Police Department said the suspect broke into a car at a residence in the 6600 block of Sycamore Wood Lane and stole a garage door opener which then gave them access to the garage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The suspect stole several hand and power tools, according to police.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"153\" height=\"150\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/f5405f3b06e4eb85dfc3ab038984a4dd.jpeg\"\/><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"291\" height=\"145\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/96c1d0d3401795c735e210f8e5ada6bf.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police are describing the suspect as a male wearing a medical mask, grey sweatshirt and dark pants.
