Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oakland<\/a>). They simply couldn’t be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Fremont Tigers<\/a> 80-19. That’s the second time they’ve managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-14 back in January.<\/p>\n When it comes to explaining why Fremont lost, don’t look at Krystal Hardy<\/a>. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Hardy is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she’s now posted two or more in each of the last five games she’s played. Ju’Lanni Smith<\/a> was another key player, putting up three points.<\/p>\n Oakland is on a roll lately: they’ve won nine of their last 11 contests. That’s provided a massive bump to their 11-15 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.1 points over those games. As for Fremont, they have been struggling recently as they’ve lost 11 of their last 13 games. That’s put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.<\/p>\n As of now, neither Oakland nor Fremont have any future games scheduled.<\/p>\n
