\u201cFebruary is Cooperative Education and Internship Month in Michigan, and Oakland University students are encouraged to take full advantage of the many experiential learning and internship engagement opportunities available,\u201d said Wayne Thibodeau, senior director of the Career and Life Design Center. \u201cOU is proud to have received the official Certificate of Proclamation from Governor Gretchen Whitmer, recognizing the importance of cooperative education and internships in supporting career exploration, employer networking and talent retention across the state. This is a great time for students to connect with employers, build real-world experience, and take meaningful steps toward their future careers right here in Michigan.\u201d<\/p>\n
