<\/a><\/p>\nCBS47 shuffled its anchors starting Jan. 26. Brian Dorman is no longer anchoring the 11 p.m. newscast and will instead continue with the 5\u20138 p.m. shows (five different half-hour segments, with the CBS Evening News at 6:30 p.m.). He anchors those shows with Kathryn Herr.<\/p>\n
Katherine Phillips, who anchored the 4 p.m. newscast, is now with Herr on the 11 p.m. newscasts.<\/p>\n \u201cWe made this move primarily to give Brian and Katherine more time to report, especially on projects and investigative stories, which is consistent with the CBS47 On Your Side brand.\u00a0It also allows us to take advantage of Vanessa\u2019s anchoring experience,\u201d CBS47 News Director Andy Paras said.<\/p>\n Dorman continues with his special reports, including a story this week about new laws to combat habitual drunk drivers<\/a>.<\/p>\n That gives Fresno two all-female anchor teams. Kim Stephens and Madison Macay anchor the 10 O\u2019Clock News on KMPH Fox26. Stephens is filling in for Monty Torres, who is on long-term medical leave.<\/p>\n KMJ Shows Honored<\/p>\n Two KMJ radio (580 AM\/105.9 FM) shows made Barrett Media\u2019s list of the Top 20 Mid-Market Shows of 2025. The media newsletter\/website ranked stations based on a panel of 40 experts and several factors, including \u201cthe ear test, originality, multi-platform impact, ratings success, and industry buzz.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBroeske & Musson,\u201d hosted by John Broeske and Christina Musson finished 18th for midday shows<\/a>. \u201cFresno\u2019s Morning News\u201d with host Christopher Gabriel and anchor Randy James ranked #19<\/a>.<\/p>\n ABC30 Adds, Loses Reporter Kerry Mannix joined ABC30 last November. The New York native graduated from Pace University in New York City, and worked her first TV job at KVIA-TV in El Paso, Texas in 2022.<\/p>\n Vince Ybarra<\/a> left last month for KPTV, the Fox affiliate in Portland, Oregon. He reported for three years with ABC30, coming over in 2023 from a station in Yuma, Arizona.<\/p>\n ABC30 also introduced a new music package for its broadcasts.<\/p>\n Hanford Newspaper Limiting Print Version<\/p>\n The Hanford Sentinel is going from a five-day-a-week printed paper to one, The Business Journal first reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n The paper started in 1886 as a weekly version.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat this means is a return to reading a newspaper that doesn\u2019t run out before your breakfast does. Everything our readers are used to in five dailies will now come in one hefty weekly paper \u2014 without the filler,\u201d the paper said in a statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 20-page paper comes out on Wednesdays, with a reduced subscription price of $14.50 per month.
