SPARTANS AT AIR FORCE FOR VALENTINE\u2019S DAY:\u00a0 The San Jos\u00e9 State women\u2019s basketball team finishes this two-game road trip on Saturday with a game at Air Force. The Falcons won the meeting in San Jose, 76-57, in January. Maya Anderson<\/a> led SJSU with 17 points and 9 rebounds.<\/p>\n San Jos\u00e9 State enters Saturday\u2019s game with a 3-22 overall record and a 1-13 mark in the Mountain West. The Spartans fell at New Mexico, 66-61, Wednesday evening. Maya Anderson<\/a> led the team with 16 points, while Katarina Anderson<\/a> made her first start of the season and contributed 10 points. Gabriela Pato<\/a> came off the bench and hit four three-pointers to score a season-high 12 points.<\/p>\n ABOUT AIR FORCE: The Falcons enter Saturday\u2019s game with a 11-13 overall record and 5-9 MW mark. The team has won three of their last four games, falling at Nevada, 75-59, Wednesday night. She has scored in double figures in 18 games this season.<\/p>\n Anderson also leads the team with 164 rebounds, 6.6 per game. She has led the team in boards in 12 games – 8 at BYU, 9 against UC Santa Barbara, 12 versus Cal State Monterey Bay, 7 against Sacramento State and at Fresno State, 9 against GCU, New Mexico and Air Force, 6 versus UNLV, 8 at San Diego State and 5 at New Mexico.<\/p>\n WHO SAYS CENTERS CAN\u2019T MAKE THREES?!: Gabriela Pato<\/a> is showing her versatility this season, scoring in the paint and behind the three-point line. She scored 12 points in the team\u2019s game at New Mexico (Feb. 11), making four three-pointers on seven attempts.
