AND1, the basketball apparel brand, is giving back to the Compton community just in time for All-Star<\/a> Weekend in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Today, February 13, 2026, AND1 is hosting a Paint the Park community event<\/a> where they will unveil a fully renovated basketball court in South Park, as well as a custom mural by Mike Norice.<\/p>\n

The event will also include sneaker giveaways, food trucks, a DJ set by DJ Trauma, and \u201ca celebration with legendary AND1 Mixtape Tour athletes,\u201d according to a press release. \u201cAND1 reinvests in the community where streetball culture was born, honoring 33 years of basketball and culture at the grassroots level.\u201d<\/p>\n

Emma Sharif, the Mayor of Compton<\/a>, will be in attendance alongside notable stars like NBA veteran Lance Stephenson Jr., The Professor, Hot Sauce, AO, Shane the Dribbler, Pharmacist, Leaky Roof, White Iverson, Junebug, Hip-Hop Harry, and Amir Smith.<\/p>\n

The event is free to the public, and is happening today, between 1 and 4 pm.<\/p>\n
