The Sacramento Police Department released videos from a deadly officer-involved shooting after a bank robbery.<\/p>\n
SACRAMENTO, Calif. \u2014 The Sacramento Police Department have released videos from a deadly officer-involved shooting<\/a> that followed a bank robbery near a shopping plaza across from Cal Expo.\u00a0<\/p>\n The shooting happened on Jan. 29 after officers responded to the 1600 block of Response road for a report of a bank robbery in progress. Police said a man \u2014 identified as 56-year-old Andrew Baima \u2014 robbed a bank and ran off with cash.<\/p>\n Officers said Baima had a gun and pointed it toward them. That\u2019s when two officers fired, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n Authorities said officers performed CPR and provided emergency medical aid until Sacramento Fire Department crews arrived.\u00a0<\/p>\n Once fire crews arrived, they took Baima to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.\u00a0<\/p>\n After the shooting, police said they discovered the gun Baima pointed at officers was fake.<\/p>\n The two officers involved in the shooting were not injured.
