Rochester schools have posted their timeline and application process to fill their open board seat.<\/p>\n
Candidate applications and resumes must be received by 12 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27.<\/p>\n
The board will identify applicants who will move to the interview round during a regular meeting held on Monday, March 9 at 6 p.m. at the RCS Early Childhood Education Center, 3838 N. Rochester Road.<\/p>\n
Applicants do not need to be present. Those applicants identified to continue with the interview process will be notified.<\/p>\n
A special meeting will be held Monday, March 23 to meet candidates, conduct public interviews, and select a trustee.<\/p>\n
This meeting will replace the regular meeting originally scheduled. There will be an open house at 6 p.m. to meet the candidates, followed by candidate interviews at 6:30 p.m. and the subsequent appointment of a trustee.<\/p>\n
Interviews will be broadcast on RCS cable television.<\/p>\n

Board President Jessica Gupta\u2019s resignation will be effective March 1. Her term was set to expire Dec. 31, 2028.<\/p>\n
