They continued their success with the first singles match win thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/smcgaels.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/madison-weekley\/7273\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"7273\" target=\"_blank\">Madison Weekley<\/a> but San Jose State roared back, winning the next four duals to snatch the 4-2 victory.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>True freshman <a href=\"https:\/\/smcgaels.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/sophie-stanton\/7276\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"7276\" target=\"_blank\">Sophie Stanton<\/a> was the final singles match for the Gaels. She won the first set 6-2 but San Jose State&#8217;s Ana Camila Celis Avila clinched the next two sets 6-2 7-5 to seal the 4-2 victory.
